British Artist Polly Morgan has reinvented Taxidermy as an art form. Her amazing and striking sculptures display birds and animals (which have died natural, accidental, or unpreventable deaths) in unusual atypical scenery. It is not surprising that her work has caught the eyes of collectors and galleries.

Polly Morgan will be exhibiting at the Pallant House Gallery along with Grayson Perry, Jeff Koons, and Damien Hirst. The exhibition, Contemporary Eye: Crossovers, runs from Oct 2, 2010 through 6 March 2011.
Purchase a copy of Psychopomps which includes new works from her recent first solo exhibition at Haunch of Venison, as well as a selection of previous works.
There are many more works on Morgan's website (as well as on Google Images)-they are highly unusual, and I recommend taking a look.
